A Cake Smash is a super fun (and slightly messy) way to celebrate the big milestone of your child’s first birthday!!!
Simply choose the colours or theme and I’ll make sure that the decorations and cake is right for you. Select one of the following backdrops here or if you would like something different, no problem. Let’s chat and create the perfect celebration!
Stage 1
Firstly we’ll start with taking picture of your little one in a cute outfit of your chosen theme, so you’ll have some lovely portraits of them all clean.
Stage 2
The real fun begins when your child is given the cake and the smashing party starts! This is where we’ll capture your child’s cheeky personality.
Stage 3
We’ll finish off the photo shoot with a cute little bubble bath to wash off all that cake mess. Here we can take some lovely images.

Once you’ve had a chance to look over my website and are ready to book, you’ll just need to complete the form below. Make sure to include your choice of date and time.
Lock in your date by completing your questionnaire, signing your contact and paying your session fee.
Day of your shoot. Relax, be yourself and have fun, I’ll be there to guide you through the whole experience.
Two to three weeks after the shoot, your images will be available to view. This is when we can work together to create your perfect wall art and place your order.
Your artwork will be available for collection three to four weeks after order. Now you get to enjoy displaying it in your home and be safe in the knowledge that it can be passed down to future generations.
A Cake Smash session fee is $150 for a weekday or $200 for a weekend shoot. The session fee is due at the time of your booking to secure your date .
Your session fee includes the following:
- $100 credit towards product purchases.
- A planning appointment, where we can design the perfect cake smash photography session for your little one.
- My helpful guide to assist in preparing you for your session.
- A personal photographic shoot that helps celebrate this special milestone.
- A design consultation, where your images are presented and we work together to choose the perfect products for you.
- Cake and decorations are included for your perfect session.
