As a mother of four, I know just how fast that first year flies by. One moment you have your sweet little newborn in your arms, and the next, they’re giggling, crawling, and taking their first steps toward toddlerhood. Tat first birthday is more than just a milestone, it’s a celebration of all the love, laughter, and incredible growth that has happened in just 12 short months.
A Cake Smash Session is the perfect way to capture your little one’s big personality as they dig into their very first birthday cake. From curious little fingers to full icing covered smiles, ever moment is filled with love, laughter and joy.

What's Included
The Cake Smash sessions fee is $200, which is due at the time of your booking to secure your date and also includes the following:
- – A planning appointment (can be via phone), where we can design the perfect cake smash session to capture your child’s unique personality. Here are some of our previous sets for inspiration.
- – Access to the client wardrobe to help style your little one for the session.
- – A 60-90 minute personal photographic shoot that captures this special time in your lives.
- – A design consultation, where your images are presented and we work together to choose the perfect artwork for your home.
- – 8 x 10 fine art matted print.
After your session I’ll invite you back into the studio for your reveal and ordering appointment. We will then view your photos on a large screen TV and you can select your favourites. From there, we can determine which package you’d like and design your artwork. If you would prefer digitals only then this can also be arrange
What to Expect
Let's Chat
Once you’ve had a chance to look over my website and are ready to book, simply contact me to start your photographic experience.
Start Planning
We will meet in my studio for a pre-session consultation. You’ll be able to see my wardrobe selections and custom artwork samples as we plan your session together. I’ll craft your session around personal style and aesthetics. No two families are ever alike, so your experience shouldn’t be the same as everyone else’s either! Together, we will create a session that tells your family’s unique story.
Day of the Shoot
It’s session day! It’s my job to make you feel totally at ease. With no time limit on each session, there’s absolutely no pressure on the day.
Design Appointment
One to two weeks after we’ll meet again, and you’ll see a beautiful slideshow of your images. Together we’ll choose your favorites images and design the perfect artwork to build your family legacy.
Display your Artwork
Your artwork will be available for collection three to four weeks after order. Now you get to enjoy displaying it in your home and be safe in the knowledge that it can be passed down to future generations.
